Based on the statements of National Citizens Party (NCP) convener Nahid Islam and chief organizer (northern region) Sarjis Alam, one of the most discussed issues in the country's politics is the 'safe exit' of the interim government's advisors. Writer-professor Salimullah Khan raised this issue in front of Information Advisor Md. Mahfuz Alam at an event in Dhaka on Thursday. He jokingly said that there is no 'safe exit' for anyone.
Salimullah Khan was the special guest at a discussion titled 'July and After in the Media' at the Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB) auditorium in Dhaka on Thursday evening. Mahfuz Alam, Advisor to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, was the chief guest at the same event. The discussion meeting was organized on the occasion of the publication festival of five PIB publications on the July Uprising ('July in Date', 'July Uprising and Political Intellect', 'Analysis: Uprising Media Statement', 'The Journalists We Lost' and 'Anniversary 2024').
